Create Custom Pages
Custom pages allow you to create pages that provide easy access to web-based applications from within Rally. Create a custom page to link to additional web sites that support your collaborative development processes such as a common wiki, calendar, source code repository, continuous integration server, related blogs, or sites on your own intranet.
You can create custom pages for individual user environments only.
Creating custom pages includes the following:
- Create a custom page
- Edit a custom page
- Delete a custom page
- Copy a custom page
- Filter a custom page by an iteration
- View a custom page full screen
- Custom page fields
Watch the video below for a demonstration of how to create, edit, and configure custom pages in Rally:
Create a custom page
To create a custom page:
Any user may create individual custom pages, although only an administrator can create a custom page that is shared across the entire workspace.
Edit a custom page
You can edit a custom page and make changes to the Name, sharing, or filtering options.
To edit a custom page:
You may also access the editor window by selecting the Edit Page option from the Customize Page menu in the upper-right corner of the page.
Delete a custom page
As the owner of a personal custom page, you can delete any custom pages that you have created.
To delete a custom page:
Copy a custom page
You may make copies of a custom page. This is useful for setting up multiple personal custom pages with similar apps, or for personal customization of a shared custom page. To copy a custom page:
The copied page is moved underneath the same tab as the shared page, with (Copy) before the name.
Filter a custom page by an iteration
You may create a custom page that contains apps linked to a specific iteration.
When this option is active, an iteration drop-down menu will display at the top of the page.
Use the and icons to change what iteration the apps are collecting data from.
The following apps will display data specific to the iteration:
- Custom Grid
- Custom Panel
- Iteration Burndown
- Iteration Burnup
- Iteration Cumulative Flow
- Iteration Defects by Priority
- Iteration Defects by State
- Iteration Summary
